April the Giraffe is still pregnant but now she's sponsored by Toys 'R' Us. Millions have watched the livestream of the giraffe at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York. It was put up weeks ago when April's keepers said the birth was going to take place any day now. The stream was previously brought to you by Mazuri, an animal nutrition company. But when that contract ran out and there was still no baby giraffe, the toy retailer stepped in.
As of Wednesday the Toys 'R' Us giraffe mascot Geoffrey is up on the screen, greeting viewers who are still waiting.
They haven't been waiting as long as April, though, as giraffes typically gestate for 15 months.
