Kylie Jenner Reveals Daughter Stormi Won't Appear On 'KUWTK'

The Business Of Fashion Celebrates Special Print Edition On 'The Age Of Influence' In NYC

Despite growing up on camera for her family's hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner has no plans for her daughter, Stormi Webster, to follow in her footsteps. Baby Stormi is, of course, a regular fixture on her mom's Instagram, but she won't be adding 'reality TV star' to her resume any time soon. Kylie revealed that, much like she did with her pregnancy, Stormi will be kept away from the KUWTK spotlight for the foreseeable future.

In her March interview with Interview Germany, Kylie was asked whether or not she would “ever subject” her daughter to reality television. “I am going to wait until she is old enough to make that decision for herself,” Kylie responded. Stormi made one brief cameo on season 15 of the show, though her face was never shown during the episode. Stormi's cousins, Mason, Penelope Reign, North, Saint, and Dream, have all frequently appeared on the show, as well.

Kylie, who welcomed Stormi at just 20-years-old, also spoke about her experience as a young mother. “I always knew I wanted to be a young mother. I remember people used to ask, ‘are you ready for this?’ And I always knew I was ready but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child,” she said. “She really comes before me so that is a lot to take in at a young age but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better. The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her."

Perhaps Kylie's reservations about allowing Stormi to appear on KUWTK stem from her own experience growing up in the spotlight. Though the massive social following she cultivated from appearing on her family's reality show helped Kylie become the youngest "self-made" billionaire in history, she's been vocal about struggling with how to handle her astronomical fame.

"I just wanna run away. I just don’t know who I’m doing it for. I see Kendall [Jenner] and Bella [Hadid] and Hailey [Baldwin], and they’re just out here every day…They’re made for this," Kylie explained in an episode of Life of Kylie. "Which isn’t a bad thing! They look so good every day…That’s not me. I don’t want my picture taken, I don’t want people to see what outfit I’m wearing.”

Season 16 of Keeping Up With Kardashians airs on March 31. While we won't see Stormi, maybe we will get to see what really went down with the Tristan-Jordyn-Khloe drama.
