How To Watch Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Interview With Oprah Winfrey

Meghan Markle is ready to talk.

In a new clip from her highly anticipated sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about why it's finally the right time to speak out about her tumultuous time as a working member of the Royal Family. "We're on the other side of a lot of life experience that's happened and also that we have the ability to make our own choices in a way," she tells Winfrey in the teaser. "I couldn't have said yes to you then, that wasn't my choice to make."

"So as an adult who lived a really independent life to then go into this construct that is different than I think what people imagine it to be, it's really liberating to be able to have the right and the privilege in some ways to be able to say yes. I mean, I'm ready to talk," she continues. "To be able to make a choice on your own and just be able to speak for yourself."

Meghan's interview with Oprah will air on CBS on Sunday (March 7) from 8-10 p.m. ET. If you want to catch it live, you can tune into any CBS broadcast station on your TV, as well as stream it on CBS.com.

Prince Harry will be joining Meghan during the interview, as well. He's set to speak about his mother's influence over his decision to step back from life as a working member of the Royal Family. "You know, for me, I'm just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side," Harry says in another teaser. "Because I can't begin to imagine what it must have been life for [Princess Diana], going through this process by herself, all those years ago. Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us — but at least we had each other."
