There are some new Sam’s Club food court changes to locations around the country in an attempt to keep up with Costco and other warehouse stores. Costco’s food court has been the go-to over Sam’s in the past, but Sam’s has decided to up their game to be more competitive.
Sam’s is now offering a hot dog for $1.38, less than Costco’s famous $1.50 dog to make it a little more affordable than the competition. They have also expanded their menu with new Grab & Co Café items. These include pasta salads, croissant sandwiches and cake slices.
The biggest announcement is for food court pizza. Costco sells an entire pizza for $9.95, which was revealed in a Costco food court hack and in the past, Sam’s only has sold pizza by the slice. Sam’s Club is now selling whole pizzas to-go, and you can expect the price to be a notch below Costco when the price is made official. In addition, Sam’s will offer curbside pickup, making it much more convenient for shoppers. The final change is the extension of hours in the food court. It will now be open for the duration of store hours as it used to close one hour earlier. It looks like the food court battle is alive and well with Sam’s Club and Costco!
