Whether you pull into a drive-thru on a daily basis, or haven’t had a burger and fries in years, you probably still have your own fast food favorites. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to save you from order disappointment, a new study ranks menu items from popular fast food chains across the country.
- Restaurant Furniture Plus analyzed Google Reviews to find the lowest-rated menu items from the 16 most popular U.S. chains.
- They looked at the 100 most-reviewed locations for each chain, for a total of 16-hundred restaurants nationwide.
- So, which fast food item is the worst, according to food reviews? McDonald’s Chicken Tenders, which earn a score of just 2.03 out of five.
- Reviewers call the tenders out for being “burnt to a crisp,” “chewy” and “dry,” and some even claim to have gotten food poisoning from eating them.
- Chipotle’s Rice Bowl is the second-worst item, based on ratings, with many people slamming them for stingy portion sizes and for having to “search for the protein in each bowl.”
- On the flip side, Chick-fil-A’s salads are the top-rated item, followed by Chick-fil-A sandwiches, Wendy’s salads and Chick-fil-A nuggets.
