Britney Spears is feeling reflective this holiday season.

On Saturday (November 29), the "Toxic" singer shared a video to Instagram of her dancing in a leopard-print body suit and lip syncing along to Adele's "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" and penned a lengthy, and since-edited, cryptic caption noting that "reflecting is good for the soul," per People.

"Sometimes when hard things happen, good things come from it and we learn... I learned that a real note of expression with emotion speaks volumes for us all!!" she said. "Call it childish, silly, annoying... We grow up to become women but do you dare keep the most sensitive part of the soul and allow it to rebel... the child within us must speak in the most vulnerable of times."

The "Baby One More Time" hitmaker then spoke about loss and how "sadness and darkness survive to make an understanding of losing someone and of the hurt and pain."

"Sometimes through suffering and ugliness and sacrifice, extremely rare and beautiful things can be manifested and shared that can touch another person so they understand they are not alone," she said. "And yet the woman in me will make sure I find my destination."

She concluded her message on a lighter note looking back at her Thanksgiving celebrations, admitting she "can't even look at food" after the holiday and saying, "I cheated I was so bad... but it felt so damn good... forgive me father."

By Monday, however, Spears had edited the post. While the video is still live, she has changed the caption to read, "I felt pretty in that bathing suit... psss gotta find those Mary Jane shoes."

Spears' latest video comes weeks after she deactivated, and then reactivated, her Instagram account following recent posts that have raised concerns as well as shocking accusations made by her ex-husband Kevin Federline in his new memoir. In her return, she explained how important it is to "own your boundaries."
