Disney Parks Set To Increase Park Capacity!

Walt Disney World has already started to raise theme park capacity according to Disney CEO Bob Chapek and will continue to do so after the new guidance released from the CDC.

Now that the CDC announced vaccinated people and their reduced need for masks indoors and outdoors, guests will see an immediate increase in park pass reservation availability at Walt Disney World as the theme park capacity will be raised even more. This means at some point very soon, you will see more guests at the parks. There were also hints that the parks mask mandates could be lifted by the summer, saying not having to wear masks would be a bigger catalyst for growth in attendance and make for a better experience.

As for Disneyland which reopened on April 30th, they are currently restricted to operating at 25% capacity under state health rules. California's tiered system is being eliminated altogether on June 15th, which is the state's target date for a full reopening.

So hopefully we will find out more information soon.
