CDC Investigating "Eyedrop Contamination"

Three people have now died as a result of contaminated eyedrops and the CDC has opened an investigation. The health agency adds eight people have lost vision in at least one eye and several others have had their eyeballs removed through surgery. A total of 68 people have been severely injured in 16 states. It's all due to a strain of bacteria that's drug resistant. While the original recall was focused on one brand, 10 artificial tears or eyedrop brands are now involved.
