Report Shows Americans Really Need To Start Taking Vacations

Expedia's Vacation Deprivation Report is out and it shows that Americans need to use their vacation time. The 24th annual report shows we haven’t gotten better at taking time for ourselves. One of the problems is we have less time to take than any other country at 12 days on average. Over 53-percent of Americans say they aren’t going on vacation this year. What country is number one for vacationing? Japan. The report notes "Americans rank among the lowest in terms of prioritizing rest and relaxation during their trips (61-percent), while it's the number one goal for 84-percent of Japanese travelers, perhaps contributing to lower feelings of deprivation."
