Measles Outbreak Grows

A measles outbreak in West Texas is now up to at least 58-cases. Authorities are frustrated that no help is coming from the federal government, which they say is refusing to acknowledge the growing problem. Terri Burke heads the Texas-based Immunization Project. She fears this outbreak will get worse before it gets better. There are already a handful of cases next door in New Mexico, close to where the current outbreak is centered. Four people who are infected said they had been vaccinated.
