"The Devil Wears Prada 2" has a premiere date, but the interesting thing about it: none of the original actors are officially on board as yet. The sequel to the popular 2006 comedy is slated to hit theaters May 1, 2026. While the central stars from the original (Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanely Tucci) are not yet signed, the rumored storyline does center around Streep and Blunt's characters. According to reports, the sequel follows Streep's Miranda Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs." With less than a year to go, further news should be coming sooner rather than later.
