*LIST* The Unhealthiest Fast Food Menu Items

It can be tempting to pull into a drive-thru and grab some fast food at the end of a long day so we don’t have to go home and cook dinner. We know it’s not the most nutritious thing we could eat, but it’s quick and convenient, and sometimes fairly affordable. The thing is, we may not realize just how many calories are in some of our favorite items, but new research is serving up the numbers we might not want to know.

  • Hypervibe.com, a company that focuses on “whole body vibration therapy,” has just come out with a report on the least healthy fast food items.
  • They’re focused solely on calorie counts, and analyzed the nutritional value of menu items from 47 fast food chains in the U.S. to find out which ones have the most calories at each place.
  • While their research excludes “sharing, meal, combo, catering and family items,” some of the items included are definitely intended to feed more than one person.
  • McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC didn’t crack the top 10 despite being three of the most popular fast food restaurants in the country.
  • So, what is the unhealthiest fast food item, in terms of calories? Hardee’s Fried Chicken 12-piece and six biscuits, which contains a whopping 6,490 calories!
