When I was younger, my family and I used to gather together to watch the original "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" when it was live and hosted by Regis Philbin. They've tried to syndicate and re-capture the magic of that show...but the only one I loved was the Regis version.
Last week, we sadly lost a TV great, Regis Philbin, just a month shy of his 89th birthday. Regis holds the record for most hours on TV (16,700). Aside from hosting his shows, he guest starred in two of my favorite shows of the 90s, The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire and Seinfeld. Here's the clip from Seinfeld as Kramer talks about his coffee table book!!
