Do you know what Moon Beams for Sweet Dreams is all about? It’s so very cool!
It’s a program created by the Beaumont Children’s Pediatric Family Advisory Council in Royal Oak and the kids who are patients there are really excited about it!
Each night at 8pm throughout the month of December, the pediatric patients shine flashlights from the windows of their hospital rooms and look for community members like you and your family standing outside the hospital to shine your flashlights back! It only lasts about 5 minutes each night but boy is it fun and the means a great deal to young patients and their families.
Check it out tonight it you can! If you don’t have a flashlight, anything that glows will do: glowsticks, glow necklaces, that lightsaber you bought last Christmas J
